Attended the following MOA International Rallies: 1998 Missoula, MT; 2000 Midland, MI; 2001 Redmond, OR; 2002 Trenton, ON; 2003 Charleston, WV; 2004 Spokane, WA; 2005 Lima, OH; 2006 Essex Junction, VT; 2007 West Bend, WI

Served as chair for: Bike Show 2004 and 2005, Awards & Tallies 2007, 2008

Presented Seminars: 2007, 2006, 2002, 2001, and 2000

Volunteered for the following activities: Beer Garden 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006; Security 2003; Bike Show 2001, 2002, 2003; 50/50 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006;

Attended all MOA Board Meetings since April 2006, except for Fall of 2007 (Gillette, WY) for financial reasons.

Attended the BMW MOA Open House in 2005.

Assisted Rally Chair in researching possibility of on-site electronic rally registration for 2007.

Assisted Executive Director in MOA relations with BMW North America and Motorrad USA (2005).

Recipient of the MOA’s high mileage award for 100,000 miles (2007).

Unsuccessfully ran for a Director’s position on the MOA Board of Directors (2007, 2008)

Submitted a number of sites as leads or for consideration as potential MOA International Rally sites

Served as Board Member of the Flatlanders BMW Motorcycle Club 2005 – 2008.

Organized The Chain Gang rally called ‘Jail Break in the Clouds’ since 2000 at the same location in Arkansas (Queen Wilhemina State Park). This rally retains no profits. Over the course of 9 years, this rally has donated over $5000 dollars to a local support organization that helps children and women of domestic violence and victims of Hurricane Katrina. 2008 will be the 10th occurance of this rally.

Touring Rider Support Activities:

I've graciously offered MOA members use of my home when passing through. Most notable guests have been Matt (the balloon guy) Tyson, and Ryan Manley (Charles Manley’s son), Deb Lower and the infamous Michael Shannon (aka "Roc") from Indiana.

Provided support through The Chain Gang for Bernarda (Benka) Pulko from Ptuj, Slovenia in her quest to travel around world and visit all seven continents by motorcycle.

Provided support and assistance through The Chain Gang to Erin and Chris Ratan in their quest to circumnavigate the world via motorcycle

Motorcycle Safety Foundation and Rider Education Activities:

Attended MSF Experienced Rider Course (2002)
